The 'Log Entries' Screen


Having signed onto the server and accessed the "Work with Log Entries" menu option, you will see  the "Work with Log Entries" screen.   The sub-title 'Log Entries' is on line 2 directly below the title line.
 

You may notice that it can be separated in sections. There is a section near the top for you to key in selection parameters which tell the program the log entries you want to appear in the section where the actual entries are displayed. These selection parameters are explained on the next page.

The section below the line shown below is the space where the log entries you have selected will appear. The process of using selection parameters is explained on the next page.

The function keys that work from this screen are shown in a section at the bottom of the screen. What these FUNCTION KEYS do is explained later in this guide.

Cursor +: F11=Events F14=Explore F15=Entries F16=Folders



You can start certain functions by keying a letter or number next to the line item indicating an action which you can take on a specific log entry. These actions are called Options and are explained later on the page marked OPTIONS.
