Step 15: Notify the Worker


You can notify the worker to pick up the visitor by either sending an electronic “break” message or by simply calling her on the telephone.

Sending a “break” message to the worker.

Key a 'B' beside the log entry, press Enter.
A small window appears.
Type over the Provider code, if appropriate.
Key the Worker ID.
Key a comment if you want to.
Press the F13=Update key.

A message similar to the one shown below will appear B immediately B on the workers screen.
If the worker is NOT signed on to the ONE/Case system, the program will display a message telling you that the program could not send the message.
