Why won’t it let me access the Incident today?

Pam: The problem with Log Incident Number 400:
1. Your CPS Control File indicates that you do not want Allegation Notes to
be changed after 30 days from the Date Reported. Menu CPMN50, option 59.
2. Incident Log Number 400 has a Date Reported of 9-09-1999 ( more than 30
prior to the current date).

Solution: Option #1. Remove the 30 days from the CPS Control File
Option #2. Change the Date Reported on the Log Incident to equal
the Date the Incident happened, 12-06-1999.

Again, Supervisor Amy Huber is attempting to get into log Number 400 in order
to assign it. This is an ABUSE case and needs top priority but she can only
view the allegations notes. She has top clearance as do I and the Intake
worker and we are also unable to change any of the allegation notes or accept
the report. This is the second time this has happened and it cannot
continue. The last time it happened, Tom called me and the problem (whatever
it was) had resolved itself and we were able to go in and change the
allegation notes. Please help, we need to get this resolved because this is
holding up things.

I am asking Mr. Briley to look at it as soon as possible Friday morning.

By the way, Mr. Cox says that you should call him or Mr. Briley directly if
you have a problem that really needs fixing right then. Sometimes I get
wrapped up in researching a problem and cannot get back to my message queque
until several hours later -- like right now, its 8:30 at night.

Also, the directions that were given to us in order to change workers on the
log is not working. The intake worker has done as Casey has instructed and
we are still unable to change the workers. This needs to be looked at ASAP
also so that workers do not become confused and the assignment order does not
mess up.

Which part is not working? The part on the Complete Investigation screen or
the part on the Work with Cases screen?
