How does a worker know she has an Incident to investigate?
Once Carole has assigned a case to a worker using F9, where does the Worker look to find their message that a case has been
assigned to them?
RESPONSE from CASEY
Right now, she should look for message. She should see a 'MW' on the bar at the bottom of the AS/400 screen, indicating that she
has a message waiting. To see the message, type 'dspmsg' on the command line, then press Enter -- look for an option on the
Other Procedures section of the screen to display messages.
Soon, I will add an activity type to those that are created when the case in assigned indicating that the case was assigned to her.
The Activity Type will be 'CASE' meaning Case Assigned or Case Created. To see her activities, she can go to menu option 3 on
menu 21 "Work with Case Activities". The selection screen should already show her Worker ID. Type '1' for All Regular activities
and 'REFFM' for Activity Type, then press Enter. She will see a list of activities. Press F17 to see more data about the activity.
Once she has read the activity, she can close it by typing a 'C' next to the on the list (then pressing Enter) or press F9 on the detail
screen (then press Enter).
I will let you know when I have made the change on your machine.
