How do I grant authority to delete a Note?
What do I need to get access to delete notes from the "Look Up Case Notes/Forms" screen. One
of my workers accidentally saved
the same document three times and I tried to copy them to the right document and now there are
three with my name on it.
RESPONSE
To delete a note, the worker must be in the list of Workers who have "override" authority on the
Provider screen. Granting this kind
of authority is a job for the System Administrator.
Step 1: Find out the Provider that owns the Note -- eg, 'CWS' 'SI' or 'IM'.
Step 2: Access the "Work with Providers" option on menu 18.
The selection screen will appear.
Step 3: Type the Provider ID, and press Enter
The detail screen will appear.
Step 4: Position the cursor on the 'Override to be Performed By' field and press F1=MoreData.
The 'Override IDs' window will appear.
Step 5: Add the Worker ID to the list, press Enter twice and exit to the menu.
That's all there is to it.
