How do I knock a user off the system?
What is the procedure to knock a user off the system in the case where a user appears to be locked
into a particular function (ie daycare selection 1 from menu 41) and cannot continue work?
Is there an action the OneCase administrator should take using OneCase or is this something that
must be done at the AS400 level outside OneCase? This question is important as we are wanting
to make sure we do not adversely affect the application or its database by forcing a user out of the
system.
CASEY
To end an AS400e session, use the command Work with Active Jobs.
Type 'wrkactjob' on the command line, press Enter.
A list of active jobs will appear.
Find the job for the user session you want to terminate.
Look in the 'User' column for the worker's name.
Type a '4' in the Option column, press the F4 key.
Type '*IMMED' in the 'How to end' field, press Enter.
After a while, the job will disappear.
To watch it end, press the F5=Refresh key.
How do we know if our backup is working properly?
REQUEST
When Richard was here last week, he set up some training profiles. He didn't set
up all of them because he ran out of time, and so I'm setting up the rest. He
wanted CPS, Income Maintenance and Reception set up, but I don't know what menu to
put in for Income Maintenance. Example: CPS - CPMN51 and Reception - RCMN31.
RESPONSE
Income maintenance workers should go to CFMN61. Reception workers should go to
RCMN31.
