howto: Lookup Home Number


Position the cursor on the Home Number,
Then press F8=Lookup.
Use the selection fields to limit or expand your selection.

If you do not remember or know the Home Number, position the cursor on the Home Number field and press the F8=Lookup* key. The program will display the ‘Lookup Home Number’ screen.

Search by any of the fields on the screen that appears. You can search by First and Last Name of either parent in the home. Keying a Starting Home Number will display a list of homes whose numbers begin with that Starting Number. You can limit the search by Sex, Race, and Age by keying appropriate values.

The program will either show the homes that meet your selection criteria or display a message saying that the person is not an application or child in any existing application.

Press the F11 function key to show either the parents’ names or the name that Finance uses to write checks.

Press the F17 function key to show the home address.

The far right column shows the capacity of the and the number of children already placed in the home.

Finding the home you want, key any character into the ‘S’ column and press Enter. The program will return the Home Number to the program from which you called the lookup program.
