FUNCTION KEYS
Enter Passes the data keyed on the screen to the program for validation and editing. Look for messages indicating data
errors. In this program the Enter key does not update the data on the screen. Press F13=Update to save the data.
F1 Access additional data screen. (F1=MoreData+)
Place the cursor on any field marked with a '+' and press key to reveal a screen/window with additional data. The '+' highlights in
reverse image when there is more data on the window than shows on the main screen.
• On the 'Name(s)/Address' field to access the Home Address screen.
• On the 'Preferences' field to access the Admission Preferences screen.
• On the 'School Districts' field to access the School Districts screen.
• On the 'License' field to access the License Data screen.
• On the 'Inspection' field to access the Inspection screen.
• On the 'IDs/Numbers' field to access the IDs/Numbers screen.
F3 Exit the program. (F3=Exit)
Returns to the menu (or program) from which the current program was called. This key does not update the data on the screen.
Press F13=Update to save the data before leaving the screen.
F4 Delete Home. (F4=Delete)
Deletes the home. Do not use this function key unless you are authorized.
F5 Go to the Placements screen. F5=Placemnts
F7 Change the ONECase Case Number for the home. F7=ChgCase#
Use this key to change the ONECase Number, the Service code, or the Worker ID for this home.
F8 Lookup Value. (F8=Lookup*)
The F8 key is operative on any field marked with an asterisk.
• Position the cursor on any Date field, then press the key to fill with field with the system date.
• Position the cursor on any Person Number field, then press the key to access the "Lookup Person Number" procedure.
• Position the cursor on a standard code field, then press the key to access the "Lookup Standard Codes" procedure.
• Position the cursor on the ONECase Number field, then press the key to access the "Lookup ONECase Number" procedure.
• Position the cursor on the Worker ID field, then press the key to access the "Lookup Worker ID" procedure.
• Position the cursor on the Service field, then press the key to access the "Lookup Service" procedure.
F9 "Work with Data about Persons" (F9=Person)
Accesses the "Work with Data about Persons" for the Person Number selected. WWDP is the same procedure available on the
Case Worker menu (21). For more information, see the "Work with Data about Persons" guide. Place cursor on Person Number
field and press key to access the function.
F11 Retrieve Person Data. (F11=Retrieve Person Data)
Access the Home Address window and press the key to pull address data from the Person screen for the first Person Number
defined. The address data in the window applies to Name 1 only. It places data only into blank fields.
F12 Return. (F12=Return)
Returns to the screen displayed immediately prior to the screen now shown. Use this function to avoid saving the data keyed after
the last update.
F13 Save the Data. (F13=Update)
Updates the database with the data shown on the screen at the time you press the key. The change is immediate. Once you press
the key, there is no backtracking. To validate or edit the data prior to updating, press the Enter key.
'F13=Update' is displayed in reverse-image format. Pressing Enter validates/edits the data on the screen but does not update the
database. Whenever F13=Update is lit, turn the light off by pressing the key. Doing this ensures that you will not lose the data you
keyed onto the screen.
F14 Access "Work with Cases". (F14=Case)
Accesses the "Work with Cases" procedure using the Case Number stored in the record and shown on the heading area of the
screen.
F15 Plan Case Activities. (F15=CasePlan)
Goes to the Case Planning function on "Work with Cases" screen directly. From this screen you can create activities for the
selected Overlay/Process and Service.
F16 Access "Work with Case Activities". (F16=CaseAct)
Goes to the "Work with Case Activities" procedure for the Provider/Case Number shown on the header area. It passses this case
data to the WWCA procedure.
F20 "Work with Notes". (F20=Notes)
Accesses the "Work with Notes" procedure for the Provider and Case Number of the placement home.
F21 View/Change Record Status. (F21=Status)
Press this key to reveal the View/Change Record Status window.
F22 "Maintain Home Comments" (F22=Comments)
Press this key to add or change brief Comments about the Home. The comments can be coded for easy retrieval.
F23 Maintain Comments about Training. (F23=Training)
Maintains Home Comments coded with 'TR' Comment Code. Accesses "Maintain Home Comments" and code with the
'TR' Comment Code.
F24 Access the Zip screen.
