Maintain Birth Data

The Birth data includes Date of Birth, Place of Birth, and Date of Death, plus the Verify Date, Worker, and Method. Date of Birth is especially important. Although it is not a mandatory field on this screen, most of the ONECase modules require a Date of Birth to function properly. Note that the format of the Date of Birth field is MMDDYYYY where YYYY is the full year value such as '1996'.

Key Date of Birth or Age directly, then press Enter
The program lets you key either of the these values directly -- that is, without accessing the Birth Date and Place screen. If you want to key only the Date of Birth or Age and do not want to key the additional data, press Enter validate and format the data. Remember that the program does not save this data until you press F13 to save it.

A Date of Birth keyed as '7041996' will be formatted to '7/04/1996'. Do not attempt to key both Date of Birth and Age. After you press Enter, the program calculates Age. 

Position the cursor and press F1 to key additional data.
The function uses the F1=MoreData+ key to reveal the window.

Key the Data, press Enter
Use the F8=Lookup key to display valid choices for the fields marked with an asterisk. Use the F8 key to fill in the system date on a date field marked with an asterisk. After validating the data keyed, the program returns to the main WWDP screen.
