Step 4: Add Family Members


Add each member.
Press the ‘F6=Add Member’ function key.
A member screen will appear.
Key the Person Number of the family member you want to add.
Use the lookup key if you do not know the number.
Key the Relationship to Head of Household.
Use the lookup key if you do not know the number.
You may key the ‘Emergency Sequence’ and the ‘Comment’ fields. 
Neither is mandatory.
Press Enter.
The ‘Family Index’ screen will appear.

Repeat the add step for each additional member.
After you have added each member, 
the ‘Family Index’ screen will show all members.

NOTE You cannot add the Person to the file during this step.
The member must already be added to the Person file.


Add a Member to an existing household

By pressing the F6 key on the Household Index screen, you can add a member to an household.

Key any char to select a member for Maintenance or F6 to Add a new Member.
Enter F6=Add Member F12=Previous

The program will present a screen similar to the one shown below. Key the Person Number of the new member or use the lookup to search for the number. Key the Relationship code or press the F8 function to lookup the code. Key the other data if you want to. Press Enter to add the member. The new member will appear on the ‘Family Index’ screen.
