howto: Terminate Child’s Eligibility


When only a single child’s eligibility needs to end, key the Termination Reason and Termination Date only on that child’s Child Application screen.

Whenever a child’s eligibility in terminated – regardless of the technique – the program also automatically changes the status of the service for the child in the case index to ‘Terminated’. In other words, it closes the case.

Child Application Changes Client Status to 'TERM'
Copies Termination Date and Reason to Child Enrollment(s)
Terminates ALL Enrollments for the child
Deletes Vendor from Case Index 
Disregards other Children in Application
