howto: Reinstate Applicant’s Eligibility


As frequently occurs in the day care environment, a household may temporarily lose its eligibility for day care assistance and later regain its qualified status. ONECase does not require that you to start a new application. You can reinstate an application's eligible status by blanking the Termination Date and Reason Code on the Application Summary screen.

Unlike the automatic feature available when terminating eligibility, ONECase does not automatically restore the eligibility of individual Child Applications or vendor Enrollments. You must first reinstate each Child's eligibility and then reinstate any vendor arrangements which are once again active.

Warning: Do not assume that ONECase reinstates each child’s eligibility and enrollment(s) automatically when you reinstate the application.

ONECase does not reinstate enrollments or the child’s application automatically. To reinstate eligibility or an enrollment, clear the existing ‘Termination Reason’ and ‘Termination Date’ from the affected screens. Update the data turning the light "off" (F13=Update). To reinstate enrollment or eligibility, you must reverse the sequence manually.
