Steps: To download Day Care data


Step 1
First, you probably know this, but I'll say it anyway. You need to know your county number. Guilford
is 041, Durham is 032, and so on. What is your number? 

Step 2
Do you have a RACF ID to the state now? If so, you will need to know it. 

Contact the SIPS help desk 800.722.3946. They got me to the right person. 

The person I got in touch with maybe the same for you, so here is the number for Tom Gerow who
granted us access. 919.733.9100 

Once granted access, the files showed up when we logged into the state to do the FTP when we
entered the SIPS9000 directory 
DHR.GHB.GHB101-1.Family. 
or "".Facility. 
or "".Invoice. 
Yes the . at the end was needed in order to get the actual file. 

To do the FTP, we used WS_FTP95, software we use now to download other state files. This
particular product was authorized for our use when the CAP file download process began. I will
assume you know about this, if not I can talk with you more. Anyway, it was in the instructions for 
downloading CAP data from the state that WS_FTP95 was authorized. It is a free product. You can
download it off the web.
