What is an Electronic Workbook?
The Client Statement is simply an electronic version of the paper application workbooks. Like the paper version, you use the Client
Statement program to collect information from an applicant who is applying for one of the public assistance programs.
The program prompts you to ask questions that are relevant for the programs the applicant may be applying for. You type the
responses into the system as you interview the applicant.
After a little practice, workers with even average keyboard skills should be able to key the data faster than writing it into a booklet.
However, what matters most is that the data collected by one worker is immediately usable by all the other assistance workers in
the agency.
