The Statement Summary Screens 

Whether you have started a new statement or accessed an existing one, the first screen in the statement is similar in format to the one shown below. Study the data shown. The Client Statement Number is in the upper right hand corner and is labeled 'CS Number'. The date that this screen was last updated is shown also. Shown in the middle of the screen is data about the applicant -- Applicant number is really the Person Number of the applicant. The Initial Interview date is the date the statement was created. Below that date is the date that the statement was last changed.

There is data about the applicant's representative on this first screen. Press Enter and you will see this representative data replaced by a serious of questions whose purpose is to record the applicant's intention regarding the basic income maintenance programs. 

Following these brief questions about income maintenance programs are screens requesting name and address data about power of attorney and about friends who you may contact to confirm certain information about the applicant. Pressing Enter cycles you through these mini-screens.

You can also press function keys which access screens which ask questions about members of the applicant's household.

From this screen you can also 1) type notes about the application, 2) print the client statement, 3) set program flags, 4) check open activities for the worker, or 5) see whether all questions required by the program flags with a 'Y' have been asked. Press F17 to define data about members of the applicant's household. You can read more about the functions in the FUNCTION KEYS section of this guide or perhaps in sections that follow.
