BEFORE YOU TAKE AN APPLICATION


Before using any ONE/Case application module, your agency will have taken the implementation steps described in the
Administration Section 2 of the ONE/Case Procedure Guides. These steps include defining ONE/Case Controls, Standard Codes, Providers, Services, Workers, Schools, and Names/Addresses. You will also have set up the security scheme. These are the minimum and mandatory steps for using ONE/Case.

If you plan to use the forms, notes, or activity features of ONE/Case, you will or need to have defined form templates, activities, and
activity overlays.

In addition to the Standard Codes which you maintain through menu 19, you set up certain codes related to the Reception/Records and Client Statement modules. Those codes are located on menu 64:

BEFORE USING CLIENT STATEMENT, MAKE SURE THAT ALL THE TABLES ARE COMPLETE

___ Are all the BASE Standard Codes on Menu 19 defined?

___ Are all the Standard Codes on Menu 64 defined?

___ Is the ONE/Case Controls table complete?

___ Have you set up the Income Maintenance 'IM' Provider?

___ Have you defined all the Services available through the 'IM' provider?

___ Are all the 'IM' Workers set up?

___ Have you set up each School?

___ Have you set up Names and Addresses for common employers, banks, Insurance companies? 

___ Have you authorized each 'IM' Worker to the "Work with Client Statement" procedure?

___ Have you identified each Form you want to prepare and set up the Form Template for it?

___ Have you defined each Activity you want to track with ONE/Case?

___ Have you set up each Activity Overlay you want to be able to plan?
