Function Keys

The screen displays the Date of the Change, the Worker who changed the data, and the Value before the change. For more information, see the description of the Work with Client Data function.

F3 Exit the program. (F3=Exit)
Leaves the program controlling the screen being displayed. If the program were called from a menu, the function returns to the menu. If the program were called from another program, the function returns to that program. For example, if program B were called by program A, the function returns to program A. The key does not update the data on the screen. Save the data before leaving the screen.

The F3=Exit and F12=Previous may appear to have the same function. However, pressing the F12=Previous key displays the screen shown prior to the current screen -- it does not leave the program.

validates/edits the data on the screen but does not update the database. Whenever F13=Update is lit, turn the light off by pressing the key. Doing this ensures that you will not lose the data you keyed onto the screen.

If you press F3=Exit or F12=Return before updating by pressing the F13=Update key, the program presents a warning
message such as 'Press F13 to save this data or press F3/F12 again' or 'You must press F13 to save any newly entered or changed data'.
