Step 7: Search the database for history


Return to ‘Work with Incident Participants’ screen.
The Log Number should be showing in the ‘Log #’ field.
Press Enter.
The ‘Work with Incident Participants’ screen appears.

Explore Case/Client relationships.
Type ‘E’ next to any participant you want to check.
Press Enter.
The ‘Explore Case Relationships’ screen will appear.
Type ‘2' in the ‘Select a Relationship to Explore’ field.
Press Enter.
If relationships exist, a list of them will appear.
If relationships do not exist, a message will appear.
Press F3=Exit to return to the main screen.
Repeat these steps for any or all of the other participants.

Search for Prior Incidents.
Type ‘I’ next to any participant you want to check.
Press Enter.
The ‘Search Prior Incidents’ screen will appear.
If prior incidents exist, a list of them will appear.

Type ‘O’ next to the prior incident to see an Overview.
Press Enter.
The ‘Incident Overview’ screen will appear.
After reviewing the overview, press Enter to return to the list.
Type ‘N’ next to the prior incident to read the Allegation Notes.
Press F3=Exit to return.
Type ‘L’ next to the prior incident to view the incident Log record.
Press F3=Exit to return.
Repeat for other prior incidents.

Press Enter or F3=Exit to return to the main screen.
Repeat these steps for any or all of the other participants. 

Maintain Person data.
Type ‘P’ next to any participant whose Person data you want to maintain.
The ‘Work with Data about Persons’ screen will appear.
Make the changes you want to make.
Press F13=Update to save the changes.
Press F3=Exit, then press F3 again to return to the main screen.
Repeat these steps for any or all of the other participants.

Leave the program.
Press Enter twice.
The selection screen will appear.
