Press the ‘F9=Case’ key.
The ‘Assign Worker’ window will appear.
Type the ID of the worker who will investigate the incident.
Use the lookup function if necessary.
Press Enter.
After a moment, the ‘Work with Cases’ screen will appear.
Press F3=Exit to return to the selection screen.
Assign the incident to an existing case
With the Log Number showing in the field, press the ‘F16=CmplInvst’ key.
The ‘Work with Incident Completion’ screen will appear.
Type the ‘ONECase Number’ into the field on the bottom half of the screen.
Press Enter twice.
Create a new case
Once you decide that the circumstances of the incident warrant a formal investigation, you need to assign the incident to a worker.
You do this in ONECase by using the F9=Case function on the selection screen. This function will automatically create a new case,
including in it all the participants you defined earlier. Because the program creates a new case, you should search existing case to
avoid creating another case.
