STEPS: To Set Up the Workstations 


Install Client Access on the PC.
Open the Client Access folder -- either on network drive, hard drive, diskettes, or CD-ROM.
Click the AS/400 Connections icon.
Start a ‘New’ connection.
Follow the wizard instructions.
Set the default User ID = ‘CA400'.

Test the connection

Click on the desktop icon.
You have successfully installed Client Access if the AS/400 ‘Sign On’ screen appears.

Change the Display Colors

Assuming a Client Access session is active, click on the Colors icon.

Map the Keyboard

Assuming a Client Access session is active, click on the Map icon.
Make ‘Enter’ key the Field Exit or Enter key.
Make the ‘Ctrl’ key the opposite.

Configure the Cursor

Assuming a Client Access session is active, click on the Display icon.
Change the Cursor to block.

Record Macros

Assuming a Client Access session is active, record AS/400 Sign On macro.
